- From Scarcity to God’s Abundance
Testimonials
What first drew me to the @Cloud EMBA programs in 2022 were the life-changing stories of mentors, coaches, and mentees. At that time, I was searching earnestly for leadership mentors who could guide me not only in leadership skills, but in God’s plan and calling for me.
Soon after, God opened the door for me to serve — first as a coworker, and later as Vice Executive Director at @Cloud. There, God used my background in program management to build and empower teams of talented engineers and developers, leading the digital transformation of @Cloud’s operations and programming. It was incredible to see how professional gifts, when surrendered to God, could be multiplied for His kingdom work.
At my local church, I also stepped up to serve — organizing the 40th anniversary retreat, marriage retreats, community events like the annual BBQ picnic, and leading as a care deacon and children’s ministry leader. These experiences deepened my faith and shaped my heart for servant leadership.
In the past, my eyes were often fixed on what I or my team lacked — limited resources, time, or strength. But through mentorship and serving, God taught me to see differently: “Little is much when God is in it.” Like the boy with five barley loaves and two fishes, I’ve learned to simply offer what I have and trust God to multiply it.
The Stone Soup story reminds me that when each person brings their unique gifts, together we can move mountains. And just as in 1 Kings 18:44, where a small cloud no bigger than a man’s hand became an abundant rain, I’ve witnessed God take small acts of obedience and turn them into blessings that refresh many.
Today, I no longer focus on scarcity, but on God’s abundance. Through faith, courage, and collaboration, I’ve learned that when we answer His call with willing hearts, He transforms our “little cloud” into great commission expanding his Kingdom at the marketplace.
