🌟About Our Speaker
Ray Chen (陳瑞曾) is the Keys and Joan Curry/Cullen Trust Endowed Chair in the Chandra Family Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas Austin, the director of the Nanophotonics and Optical Interconnects Research Lab, at the Microelectronics Research Center, and the director of the AFOSR MURI-Center for Power-Efficient Silicon Nanophotonics for Optical Computing and Interconnects.
Professor Chen holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of California, is a globally renowned optoelectronics, artificial intelligence, and life sciences expert,and a fellow of AIIA, IEEE, SPIE, OSA, and NAI with an extensive body of work that includes over 1,000 academic publications, 75 patents, and pioneering contributions to high-tech innovation.
In addition to his full time academic roles, Dr. Chen also serves as the full time Senior Pastor of Chuan Fu Church in Austin, Texas, https://www.tcaweb.org and 传福基督徒聚会, where he is dedicated to evangelism, discipleship, and global church leadership.
